Peer Mentors are active in their own recovery with mental health challenges, trauma and/or addictions. They are working professionals who have sustained their wellness by continuing to access their support systems. They come from a place of empathy and understanding because of what they have lived through. They offer hope, comfort, support and guidance. Peer Mentors respect the uniqueness of each individual and their right to choose their recovery path.
You can be connected to a peer mentor through a one-Link referral and self referrals are also accepted. Please call us at 905-338-4123 if you would like to refer yourself or feel free to ask a question at email@example.com and one of our peer mentors will respond within 2 business days.
The Peer Mentor team at one-Link are able to offer a limited amount of individual support as well as group sessions focusing on community connections and supporting people in overcoming barriers to accessing the many mental health and addiction based supports that exist in the community.
